ATS Asset and Inventory Specialist

Position Description

As an ATS Asset and Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Manage IT equipment inventory, audit, fixed asset reconciliation, salvaging of obsolete equipment
  • Maintain inventory quantities and reorder points
  • Create and process RMA's with required documentation for record keeping
  • Identify and resolve issues in a timely manner, gather and analyze information systematically
  • Make necessary inventory changes when equipment is deployed or moved
  • Tag and input new buildings, rooms and cubicles into ATS System
  • Assist in obtaining quotes, create purchase requisitions, signature routing, IT hardware and software procurement
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives within the ATS Department
  • Adapt to changes in the work environment and manage competing demands
  • Ability to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • 4 year degree in a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Asset and Inventory Management a plus
  • General Information Technology knowledge of hardware and software (ATS Service-Desk, Contract Management-Copier Vendors)
  • Proficiency in using Office 365, Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Top tier customer service skills and a commitment to the quality of the customer experience
  • Familiarity with a variety of technical platforms/methodologies preferred
  • Strong verbal, written and communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast moving and quick changing environment
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and prioritize workload
  • Capacity to work independently and in a team environment
