Position Description

As a UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Create a range of low to high fidelity deliverables including but not limited to wireframes, visual interfaces, and prototypes
  • Collaborate with other designers and developers while making sure the interaction is getting recorded and addressed correctly
  • Create the overall look and feel of a wide range of applications, websites, and communication tools
  • Produce user flows and visual design for company products across web, mobile, and a wide range of applications based on company needs
  • Track and manage design tasks
  • Work with other UX/UI Designers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and other business entities to maintain design consistencies across different media platforms and materials

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • 4-year degree in a related field, or a strong portfolio
  • 1-2 years of design experience
  • Proficient in design tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Understanding of W3C Accessibility standards
  • Understanding of cross-platform browser compatibility restrictions and requirements
  • Ability to collaborate with team members to continually improve processes
  • Experience working on an Agile and Waterfall development processes
  • Ability to communicate design approaches and complex situations clearly and simply, listen actively, and convey difficult messages in a positive manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced growing environment and adapt to changing business requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to work on multiple design requests and deliver on a timely basis 
  • Ability to present design solutions to various stakeholders
  • Strong problem solving abilities
