Position Description

As a Production Lead in our manufacturing plants, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Providing leadership, direction, training and coordination
  • Performing all manufacturing and production operations for your respective work area in various manufacturing environments
  • Reviewing and complying with engineering drawings, shop order operations and sequences
  • Following production schedules and meeting production and quality goals
  • Utilize ERP system in manufacturing operations
  • Performing and coordinating manufacturing operations with or without tools and/or equipment as well as coordinating material movement
  • Monitoring and analyzing daily labor times, key performance indicators and other tracking reports including web-apps
  • Performing detailed inspections with or without correction, tools and/or equipment while maintaining and upkeeping of the work area
  • Contributing to process and quality improvement projects
  • Verify operating parameters for tools and/or equipment

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • High school graduate, General Education (GED) or work equivalent
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks utilizing hand/eye coordination
  • Experience using computers and related software such as the SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
