Position Description

As a Business Analyst II, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • During your first 30 days you will spend time onboarding, training and familiarizing yourself with departmental processes, system landscapes and compliance requirements
  • Also during your first 30 days, you will be immersing yourself in design and development discussions for projects and software change requests, including Purchase Order Request Application redesign, SAP system enhancements, and KPI/Dashboard report development for Strategic Procurement team
  • In the first 90 to 180 days you will have made key contributions by designing, configuring, and developing components of critical enterprise applications within the Procurement systems, and will have provided support for HANA-optimized application development
  • Solution design, and implementation of systems on various projects and support initiatives within the Procurement (SAP MM) functional area
  • Collaborate with business counterparts globally to ensure successful implementation of projects, and maintenance of optimum service levels on various system change requests
  • Ensure that proper Change Control and Project Management processes are adhered to

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • Must at least have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Management Information Systems

  • A minimum of 3-5 years hands on experience using one or more SAP modules in a full life cycle implementation with recent releases of SAP, either in a client facing role, or in an internal Consulting role

  • Fair knowledge & experience designing system solutions in one or more SAP modules such as SAP MM, LE, and SD

  • Ability to train other team members

  • Experience with S4/HANA in at least one application area (Sourcing & Procurement preferred)

  • Integration knowledge of SAP ECC with other SAP applications such as SAP GTS is preferred

  • SAP Certification in one or more application area

  • Knowledge and experience working in FDA CFR Part 11 compliant environment

  • Effective written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to perform well in a team environment

  • Excellent business process design experience using SAP
  • Understanding of business objectives and value management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to configure systems to meet complex business requirements ensuring that software solutions are designed to perform as intended are critical
