Position Description

As an Information Security Manager, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Lead the team responsible for conducting risk assessments, security exception request tracking, security awareness training, breach/attack investigations, litigation data collection support, forensics analysis, and more
  • Manage the team's workload and priorities, establishing strategy, providing direction, and managing a budget
  • Support our global IT teams in Europe and APAC regions
  • Supervise and manage the Information Security team
  • Leads investigations and participates in incident response needs
  • Assist with contracts and agreements when it comes to Information Security
  • Provide analysis and consulting on: Standards and Policies, Breach/attack investigations, Network Solutions and Security, Data Security and Access Controls, Internal and Third-Party Risk Assessments, Standardized Security Metrics
  • Assist team members to resolve technical and/or security application issues
  • Manage the setup and configuration of security controls and tools
  • Participate and assist in the coordination of both internal and external audits
  • Stay up-to-date of regulatory changes and compliance obligations that could impact the company
  • Contribute information, metrics, and security road map, related to Information Security to the Security Steering Committee
  • Pursues training and development opportunities; strives to continuously build knowledge and skills

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • 3+ years of management experience required
  • 3+ years Tier 3 work experience in information technology strongly desired
  • Security-related industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+ or MCSA are preferred
  • Knowledge in security information analysis and understanding of security technologies
  • ITIL Principles (Change Management, Problem Management, Incident Management, etc.)
  • Strong Leadership skills and critical problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated leadership with the ability to function independently and set direction for a team
  • Ability to provide analytical and rational views related to risk vs. business need
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and negotiating skills
  • Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment


The following skills and attributes are preferred:

  • Knowledge of the following technologies is a plus: MS Active Directory Services, Authentication/Authorization, Access Provisioning, Access Review, PKI, Single Sing-On, Federation, TCP/IP Based Networking Principles, Microsoft Operating Systems, Firewalls and Perimeter Security, Data · · Loss Prevention, Endpoint Security, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
