IT Project Manager III

Position Description

As an IT Project Manager III, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Manage and assist in projects involving various areas of information technology and/or infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members while working on Applications and/or Infrastructure projects
  • Manage all stages of the project life cycle, including scope, schedule, risks, issues and budget using established methodologies
  • Prepare comprehensive project plans for all phases of the project life cycle and balance the allocation of resources to ensure timelines are met
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, issues and risks, and prepare contingency plans
  • Develop and prioritize project deliverables and arti facts
  • Create and maintain project meeting minutes to document key decisions and action items
  • Exercise sound judgment in planning, organizing, and managing projects
  • Facilitate project communication and change management activities
  • Collaborate with business analysts and internal customers to gather required project needs
  • Track and report project progress to all stakeholders
  • Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation and reports
  • Manage vendor relationships and facilitate vendor evaluations
  • Mentor and/or lead Project Coordinators or Project Managers where needed
  • Facilitate project closure activities
  • Facilitate vendor management activities including invoice payments
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our overall project management discipline
  • Perform various project administration activities
  • Assist the Project Management Team with training and development of new process improvements and advancements in project management training programs
  • Perform job duties while working non-standard business hours with international teams, as needed
