Position Description

As a Project Manager II, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Manage technical projects of medium to large scale, including software applications, systems, platforms, services, technologies, and infrastructure throughout the project life cycle from initialization to deployment
  • Define project scope, coordinate deliverable schedules with cross-functional teams, and define risk mitigation strategies, while facilitating appropriate technical solutions
  • Manage and assist in projects involving various areas on Information Technology and/or Infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members while working on Applications and/or Infrastructure
  • Manage all stages of the project life cycle, including scope, schedule, risks, issues and budget using established methodologies
  • Prepare comprehensive project plans for all phases of the project life cycle and balance the allocation of resources to ensure time-lines are met
  • Pro-actively manage changes in project scope, issues and risks, and prepare contingency plans
  • Develop and prioritize project deliverables and artifacts
  • Create and maintain project meeting minutes to document key decisions and action items
  • Exercise sounds judgment in planning, organizing, and managing projects
  • Facilitate project communications and change management
  • Collaborate with business analysts and internal customers to gather required project
  • Track and report project progress to all stakeholders
  • Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation and reports
  • Manage vendor relationships and facilitate vendor evaluations
  • Facilitate project closure activities
  • Facilitate vendor management activities including invoice payments
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our overall project management discipline
  • Perform various project administration activities
  • Assist the Project Management Team with training and development of new process improvements and advancements in project management training programs

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • Ability to concurrently manage multiple complex projects and prioritize workloads while working interdependently within a cross-functional team
  • Ability to extract data from multiple sources and prepare various reports
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced and quick changing environment
  • Knowledge of a variety of technical platforms and methodologies
  • Proficient with MS Teams, MS Excel, MS Project, and Agile
