Health Services Administrator/Workers Compensation Specialist

Position Description

As a Health Services Administrator, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Support Health Services with worker's compensation, legal, medical, as well as various other short and long term tasks and projects
  • Provide assistance to team members when contacting our Company clinic, in-person, phone or e-mail
  • Support the team by completing assigned worker's compensation administration tasks, accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assist with the maintenance and yearly submission of government regulated reports- OSHA log and BLS
  • Assist with the management of the Health Services fax and e-mail inbox
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of Health Services events such as, blood drives and flu shot clinics
  • Maintain and order office and clinic supplies

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • Three to five years of administrative experience in an office setting
  • Knowledge or experience with submitting workers' compensation claims 
  • Filing and scanning medical records, or other related experience in a healthcare environment
  • Experience with EMR(Electronic Medical Records)
  • Basic medical terminology 
  • Microsoft Office 
  • Must be able to adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and accomplish short term as well as long term program goal on time
  • Enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal communications
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality to all tasks
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced environment
