Position Description

As a Service Desk Technician for our SAP Production Support team, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Provide information system technical support to team members primarily for SAP ECC and SAP PLM
  • Receive and respond to phone and email requests for technical assistance and logging the issues in a Help Desk management system
  • Interface with various team members within the organization to understand challenges, troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
  • Support enterprise systems and business processes within one or more enterprise applications
  • Perform user account management, system monitoring and other administrative tasks

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, CIS, MIS or related field
  • 2+ years of Help Desk support experience
  • 3+ years of hands on experience with SAP ECC
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, using remote support tools
  • Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize the daily work load with an ability to shift responsibilities/priorities as needed
  • Detail oriented with effective follow-up skills to complete tasks accurately and on time with little or no correction required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong application and information system troubleshooting skills
  • Top tier customer service skills and a commitment to the quality of the customer’s experience
  • Proven experience with end user desktop support in a multi-building, corporate campus environment

  • Broad knowledge and understanding of SAP PLM
