Position Description

In the medical device industry, sales aren’t made without contracts. The Contracts team at Applied Medical plays a critical role in the organization by supporting our global selling efforts in a complicated and challenging industry. Our tightly knit group relies on exceptional team synergy to succeed in this fast-paced, demanding and ever changing environment. We pride ourselves on maintaining quality, offering outstanding customer service, and providing unique and progressive contracting solutions to our customers. As a Contract Analyst, you will work collaboratively with internal and external teams at all levels to facilitate, manage and oversee the contract process from initial proposal to final execution.

 

 Responsibilities include the following:

  • Providing support in the creating and management of sales contract documents and related analytical tools
  • Creating and generating spreadsheet-based analytical tools
  • Using templates to draft distribution and pricing agreements
  • Coordinating and communicating with Field Sales Team on documents and analysis

A successful candidate will have a positive attitude and the ability to use critical thinking to suggest creative solutions. Excellent communication skills, flexibility, thorough investigative abilities, and attention to detail at the highest levels are essential. 

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • B.S. or equivalent experience with strong academic credentials
  • 2+ years of analytical or data-intensive environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
  • Attention to detail 
  • Ability to problem solve and think analytically
  • Professional demeanor and a willingness to adopt a "team player" attitude

Preferred

The following skills and attributes are preferred:

  • Familiarity with SAP 
  • Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) or programming knowledge
