Thank you for your interest in Applied Medical! As a Production Associate, you would have the opportunity to work in our Advanced Metals Processing manufacturing environment in Rancho Santa Margarita. 

Position Description

 Please apply to interview for a Production Associate in our Advanced Metals Processing.

 You will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Perform all manufacturing and production operations for respective work area
  • Such as performing: operation of semi-automated and automated equipment, laser marking/welding along with deburring, packaging, assembling, inspecting and cleaning components
  • Encourage suggestions for improvement
  • Contribute to a cohesive team atmosphere
  • Understand and follow Applied Medical’s Quality Systems (QS)
  • Understand and comply with safety guidelines and company policies
  • Read, write and  understand English
  • Read and comprehend engineering drawings and, shop order operation sequences
  • Perform repetitive tasks
  • Maintain a clean working area
  • Learn new or other duties as required
  • Effectively communicate with other team memebers 

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime and in different work centers within a machine shop environment
  • Ability to work on an alternative working schedule such as Wednesday - Sunday or Friday - Tuesday
  • Ability to work on a 2nd or 3rd shift 
  • Team first mentality and understand working within a  team
  • Communicate and work well with others
  • Ability to maintain expected time standards
  • Strong hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to handle and manipulate small objects
  • Ability to work with chemicals, such as isopropyl alcohol, and plastic or rubber products
  • Extreme attention to detail, especially with small parts with or without correction
  • Able to wear personal protective equipment such as gowning, masks, gloves, etc. and lift 30lbs.
  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend English


This following skills and attributes are preferred:

  • 0-2 years of work experience
  • Assembly and/or manufacturing skills
  • Experience using computers
