Position Description

As a Multimedia Editor, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), internal and external groups to design, develop and manage
  • Work collaboratively with graphic designers to achieve common objectives, exploring and facilitating efficient work flows and introducing innovation into the process that can impact results
  • Prepare for growth and help ensure that the organization remains at the forefront of meeting the customer's needs by conveying messages in the most relevant fashion and medium
  • Produce videos for delivery on multiple channels such as the company's website, YouTube channel, etc.
  • Ensure consistent brand image, integrity and visual language across all communication tools
  • Perform quality assurance on all projects

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of experience in multimedia field
  • Proficiency with PC/MAC platform and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word and Outlook
  • Proficient in creating and managing scripts, video shoots and overall video production, start to finish
  • Skilled in setup, lighting and filming commercial quality interviews, audio, b-roll, live events, etc.
  • Experience in editing video footage and creating simple motion graphics with audio from start to finish
  • A self-starter with strong communication skills and project management experience
  • Competent in Premiere, Audition, and After Effects
  • Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to handle numerous projects and issues under tight deadlines
  • Broad understanding of image files and video codecs, frame rate, bit rate, resolution and compression
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, problem solving and time management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel to film events and surgical procedures and work flexible hours
  • Background working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with multiple levels of project input and approval
  • Strong desire to provide timely, responsive and quality service
  • A willingness to learn and undertake new tasks
  • Strong team player and ability to work under high pressure situations
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs 


The following skills and attributes are preferred:

  • Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Familiar with learning technology, including Learning Management Systems
  • Digital content management skills
  • General knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
