Position Description

As a Creative Operations Specialist you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:  Support digital asset management, workflows and operational best practices in creative production that will increase timeliness, capacity, accuracy and collaboration within the Branding team.


  • Prioritize focus on the DAM (Digital Asset Management) system, providing oversight and direction for the metadata hierarchies, taxonomy structure and overall governance planning
  • Participate in meetings with users, technology and business partners to facilitate understanding, and project implementation of new requirements as it relates to the DAM system and processes
  • Train user community, as needed, on proper usage and best practices of the DAM system
  • Conduct ongoing research and analysis to stay up to date on digital asset management and other industry trends in creative operations to improve overall processes and implement as needed.
  • Rely on graphic design and print production experience to support existing and develop new creative operations practices for the team to ensure operational efficiencies and alignment with established processes.
  • Work directly with design teams on development and implementation of creative operations team processes and workflows.
  • Develop new work instructions specific to department processes for team member training.
  • Coordinate digital asset management and creative operations projects with Digital Asset Coordinator, Operations Analyst or Operations Coordinator as needed.
  • Provide general project management for other creative operations projects in coordination with Creative Operations Manager
  • Take lead on initiatives that need a technical process review for the creative team or other internal requesters
  • Read, write, speak and comprehend English
  • Understand and comply with safety rules and company policies
  • Understand and follow Applied Manufacturing’s Quality System (QS) per training
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities required

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field such as graphic design, digital media or library science.
  • 3-5 years work experience in an in-house or outside creative agency, including experience in graphic design or digital media as well as creative operations and digital asset management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, Mac and Windows.
  • Experience delivering training to team members.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with requestors and team members at all levels
  • Ability to multi-task, be solutions oriented, flexible and proactive
  • Demonstrate both resourcefulness and innovation with internal team members during collaboration on complex workflow and process solutions


  • Censhare digital experience platform (DAM) knowledge is helpful, but not required.
  • Medical device industry experience would be a plus, but not required.
