Position Description

As a CNC Spring Maker, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Program, set up, run and maintain CNC WAFIOS spring machines according to verbal instructions and engineering drawings to fabricate springs.
  • Strong mechanical understanding of CNC Spring Machines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and manufacture parts within specifications.
  • Ensure parts conform to blueprints.
  • Have an understanding about machining policies and instructions including (MI), ISO, QSR, SOP's work rules and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain open communication with engineering, set-up technicians and planners. 

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attribute:

  • Work flexible and extended hours as needed.
  • Be a detail-oriented and quality-minded individual.
  • Possess basic machine shop math skills and ability to perform calculations.
  • Minimum 3+ years of spring making experience.
  • Must read, write and speak in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, ear plugs, etc.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred

  • 4 slide experience
  • Experience with Wafios Machine and programming
