Maintenance Manager - Injection Molding

Position Description

As an Injection Molding Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Managing daily maintenance and repairs on all plastic injection mold, rubber mold and extrusion manufacturing equipment as well as plant support equipment
  • Provide hands on repairs along with managing a team of technicians
  • Deliver on special projects, such as new equipment installations, and automation support
  • Establishing processes for continuous improvement
  • Participate in strategic planning
  • Development of departmental team growth and contingency plans
  • Maintain team member work schedules
  • Lead team members to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes: 

  • 5 years or more in a Maintenance leadership role
  • Previous experience as an Injection Mold Maintenance Technician 
  • Experience in manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, and extrusion
  • Demonstrate computer skills including spreadsheet, presentation and word processing
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Demonstrate verbal and written analytical/problem solving, communication, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills


  • Desired experience in ERP systems such as SAP and Product Lifecycle Management applications
  • Experience with Arburg Injection Molding Machines and Robots
