Tooling Engineer

Position Description

As a Tooling Engineer, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Sample and debug molds according to instructions and engineering drawings
  • Comply with QSR, ISO, SOP’s, work rules and safety guidelines
  • Meet production schedule and quality standards
  • Understand machining policies and procedures and engineering instructions
  • Interface with engineering, quality inspection, planning and other team members to communicate needs

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • Certificate from technical training or college
  • 3+ years’ experience related to injection molding
  • Proven history of technical and hands-on approach to problem solving
  • Processing background related to injection molding
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to interface with team members about all manufacturing duties, activities and production issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills
