Position Description

As a Lead CRM Business Analyst, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Lead and manage CRM software development projects, ensuring software solutions are designed and developed to perform as intended and are implemented according to the project schedule.
  • Interface with various departments within the organization to understand their needs, document requirements, and collaborate in the design, configuration, development, testing, and implementation of the solutions.
  • Lead the configuration of systems, troubleshooting system issues and user training across multiple time zones and locations
  • Learn CRM business processes and relevant software technologies and participating in the design, development, testing and implementation of related applications
  • Maintain existing systems that support one or more departments, such as Field Implementation, Field Operations, Clinical Education and Clinical Development
  • Lead a team in the CRM application area
  • Develop knowledge and skills in enterprise scale application design, development and implementation of systems, such as SAP CRM and related mobile applications
  • Help identify opportunities for improvement in CRM business processes and related systems
  • Participate in software validation activities to ensure that software solutions are designed to perform as intended
  • Ensure that proper Change Control and Project Management processes are adhered to
  • Work on latest relevant software technologies to provide computer software solutions and applications to the organization
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and next generation platforms and recommend solutions that drive innovation and business value

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or Business Administration
  • 6-8 years of hands-on experience implementing and configuring the SAP or similar CRM modules on projects in a functional and technical capacity
  • Experience leading small teams
  • Experience working on full life cycle implementations involving CRM and ERP integrations
  • Experience with CRM and related systems such as mobile applications, sales, marketing and campaign automation and related analytics
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with internal customers, co-workers, and management
  • Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Very good knowledge of software development lifecycle
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

Preferred

The following skills and attributes are preferred:

  • SAP CRM or equivalent CRM Certifications
  • Experience with Software validation
  • Experience with a Life Sciences company
  • Experience working in an FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliant environment
