Back-End Developer

Position Description

As an Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Take on in-house business application development projects in a fast-paced work environment
  • Design, develop and maintain ASP.NET MVC websites
  • Support end user requests and troubleshoot application issues
  • Update all website and website applications with new and updated content
  • Develop new web-based solutions based on company needs
  • Work with multiple departments and collaborate with other developers to meet project needs

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • Minimum 3 years programming experience in C# (Web Forms and ASP.NET MVC)
  • Experience with MS SQL and Entity Framework
  • Advanced Object Oriented Design skills
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently with a strong attention to detail


The following skills and attributes are preferred:

  • 4 year degree in Computer Science
  • Experience with front-end web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, XML (XPATH, XSLT), .NET XML, Web Services, SOAP, REST
  • Experience with Subversion/Git
  • Ability to configure and manage Azure services
  • Experience with ISS management
