Quality Systems Training Lead

Position Description

As a Quality Systems Training Lead, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Manage projects to maintain and improve the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Establish or update procedures in the Quality Management System (QMS) to address new and evolving processes
  • Maintain compliance within LMS (for QMS document training)
  • Support both administrative and technical aspects of the LMS including performing audit checks, testing, deploying and reporting on learning content
  • Contribute ideas and participate in projects to maintain and improve the QMS and LMS in accordance with national and international standards and regulations
  • Provide technical support to end-users while maintaining positive and cooperative communication and collaboration with all customers
  • Create and maintain internal training tools to ensure consistent and compliant use of the LMS
  • Collaborate with software validation teams when performing regular LMS software validation activities
  • Participate in internal and external audits
  • Coordinate, liaise, and participate with internal teams to provide guidance on quality systems compliance
  • Identify and implement systems to improve the overall efficiency of processes within RA/QS

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • 4- year degree
  • Training in Quality Systems including relevant ISO Standards
  • Minimum of 1-year experience within the medical device industry
  • Thorough understanding of standards and regulations in order to monitor and ensure compliance within the area of Quality Systems training
  • Ability to work within a team environment, striving to meet or exceed customers’ expectations, and committing to continuous improvements in quality
  • Ability to interpret new and emerging regulations, standards and guidance documents
  • Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize
  • Must be analytical, meticulous and detail oriented
